Dear members of the Förderverein Rosinenbomber e.V.
After the successfully carried out noise measurement in September last year with an Air Lingus machine, we now expect the noise measurement protocol confirmed by the LBA. In the last 2 months, the carrying capacity of the seats has been checked as there were no corresponding certificates (STC’s) for this. Again, the final findings report is still pending. With the missing documents can then be seriously approached the traffic approval. These two points were beside the already acknowledgment of the American characteristic sheet of the DC-3 the main obstacles with the admission of the aircraft and the shipyard. The further planning for a technical release for the transfer to the shipyard has begun.
In our board meeting on 15.02.18 we will prepare our participation in the ILA 18 from 25. – 29.04.18. For the stand support and inspection of our machine again busy helpers are in demand and I ask for the planning to a timely registration.

The film crew was also at our machine the day before yesterday at the hangar in Schoenefeld and has recordings of the two aircraft inside and out, as well as interviews with Frank Hellberg, Steffen Wardin and performed by the technicians of the company List. The film will be broadcast on TV in June.
For the next year, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift, a project with 40 raisin bombers will fly over the stations and corridors of the Airlift to and over Berlin. The initiators were already with us and presented the project. The stationing of the machines should take place in Schönhagen. The procedure for the execution of the flight depends on the permits still to be issued by the Berlin Senate.
